MULTI-PACK DESIGN BUILD
The objective of this project was for CSMI to provide engineering, procurement and construction services associated with an automated Multi-Pack line installation. The multi-pack production consists of several unit operations; bag singulation and bag inspection, pick/place/load (PPL) module, carton/caddie erection and closing, case erector and caddie case packer, and case palletizer.
PACKAGING AUTOMATION DESIGN BUILD
The objective of this project was to work with the client on their vision of Operations to eliminate “touches” from case packaging to case load out to lower costs. The packaging automation reduced packaging costs with the added benefits of increased manufacturing flexibility and net capacity.
SECONDARY PACKAGING SYSTEM ENGINEERING
The objective of this project was to provide an upgraded system for secondary packaging that was able to run specific cartons for (5) beverage systems on the east coast and (3) systems in Midwest facilities. CSMI provided engineering and design services to complete the mechanical and electrical installation packages.
TURNKEY LINE AUTOMATION
The objective of this project was to design, engineer and install an automated production line to improve line efficiency, product quality and reduce overall line resources. The line included an automated tray dispenser, (3) piston fillers, scale weight filler, checkweigher, intermittent and continuous and in-feed conveyors, tray height sensor and spray bars. “
BOTTLING LINE DEMOLITION/INSTALLATION
The objective for this project was to remove two existing lines and install a new bottling line in its location. The scope of work included complete installation and integration of a new bottling line. This included the development of demolition packages for the removal of two existing bottling lines and the development of installation packages of the new bottling line. Also included in the scope was the development of the process and CIP design for the new line utilizing the existing bottling as a baseline, with vendor support for the equipment and systems. This scope of work also outlines development of installation packages for the relocation of existing lines.
JUICE BLEND TANK CONVERSION
The objective of this project was to incorporate (2) existing tanks into one, enabling the 2 tanks to serve as one additional blending tank for two lines. CSMI provided engineering and design services for the process mechanical and process electrical installation drawing and specification package used for bid and construction.
NEW PROCESS SYSTEM INSTALLATION
The objective of this project was to design, engineering and install a new process and CIP system for a new product in an existing facility. The scope of work included designing and engineering the automated line and incorporating the tie-ins to the existing utility and bulk raw ingredients and a full CIP system.
CAPACITY EXPANSION DESIGN BUILD
The objective of this project was the implementation of new system for capacity expansion for processing and packaging in an existing facility. The scope of work included design and engineering of the line, procurement of automated equipment, engagement of contractor trades, controls integration and project management.
