History
Founded in 1983, CSMI specialized in Electrical and Process controls engineering. Within 5 years, process engineering capabilities were added as an addition service to complement the Electrical and Controls group.
Our mission of becoming a full-service engineering firm transitioned with the addition of the Mechanical engineering group, Packaging engineering group, Project management and construction management groups.
To fulfill the commitment to provide quality streamlined, standardized engineering processes and procedures, CSMI became ISO 9001 certified in 1997 and maintains its certification to date. We are a currently registered ISO 9001:2008 firm.
Our certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is your guarantee that CSMI’s quality engineering services meets precise quality assurance standards. We engage in the best business practices in our industry to help ensure our deliverables will consistently meet your exacting business requirements.
CSMI became certified with the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council (CMSDC), the United States Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC), and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). We are a 100% Asian American Woman Owned Minority Business firm.
